Oregano is woven into wreaths, and is then used as a tool to spread happiness around. This was done by either waving the wreath, or by symbolically throwing it to people or into the home. You could literally ‘pass the joy around’. The wreath was also placed on the doorways in order to stop sadness from entering the home.
Oregano is often collected and prepared in the warmer months to collect and keep the joy of the sun to use in the colder months. That being said, with some kind words and devotion, Oregano can grow and be used magically during the winter.
Each pack contains 5 tbsp of the herb. The weight varies due to the density of the herb. These are large packs with plenty of uses.
