La Justicia – Lady Justice – Themis Statue

This statue honours La Justicia, or Themis- the Goddess of divine Justice. Impartial due to the blindfold, she stands with the scales of justice and is the holder of true divine law.

A Titan Goddess that oversees and organises civility and assemblies, to keep things in their true and proper order.

Themis is often worshipped alongside other Gods of Justice, Fate or Civility, such as Artemis, Nemesis and the Fates. When Themis’ warnings are ignored, Nemesis is called to bring divine, justice driven revenge.

Although the blindfold is of an early-modern cultural symbol attached to Lady Justice, we choose to stock it as it’s how living folk magic practitioners now work with her.

Themis is also seen as being oracular in her earliest cults, and we feel the blindfold could also tie in nicely with this aspect of her worship too.

Once you’ve received the statue- make sure to ‘awaken’ the statue in any way you see fit. This could be through annointing oil, sacred incense blends or through using a light wash. We suggest an offering incense to welcome in the spirit. You can either use this statue symbolically, devotionally or as part of physical spell workings.

This statue stands at 33cm, and is made from high quality resin and arrives in it’s original box. Because each statue is hand painted, statues may differ slightly in appearance.
