St. Anthony’s fire was a plague of madness, often thought to be caused by evil spirits, and coriander leaf was often used to treat it. Coriander is sacred to St. Anthony and his intercession powers. He was thought to help cure any type of madness, but particularly madness caused by trouble of the spirit.
Coriander can also be a handy herb to initiate spirit travel- making it a very useful herb to have in the cabinet.
Coriander is also an Aphrodisiac- possible linked to the understanding of ‘driven to madness by lust’, or possibly due to the innate sensuality of spirit flight.
Each pack contains 5 tbsp of the herb. The weight varies due to the density of the herb. These are large packs with plenty of uses.
