Selenite Pendulum

Pendulums have been used a tool for divination for thousands of years. There are many ways of using pendulums- some people use pendulum boards, others see how fast or slow a pendulum moves. Selenite is a crystal dedicated to Selene and other Lunar Spirits. It’s a variety of gypsum found around the world, also known as satin spar. Ancient belief ties the selenite’s powers to the current phase of the moon, rendering it an incredibly useful stone for a myriad purposes. Selenite crystals are known for their abilities to work with the moon, divination, oracular dreams, the sea, guidance, cleansing, charging, and clear sight. Selenite’s ties to clear sight relate to it’s usage for guidance, but also due to it’s inherent nature- it’s used for window panes in some older buildings. It’s also used in mirror magic, based on it’s reflective nature and it’s ties to Diana, the Goddess of the Moon and Lake. It protects against other energies because of this.
