Often when we see the many types of tarot decks on shelves, all the images within are fixed, static. They all seem to tell the same story from the same moment in time, albeit in often very different ways.
The After Tarot gives you something new- what happens just ‘after’ the tarot images of the Rider Waite Smith decks. This gives the entire reading a different feel, a different view on the tarot entirely. The art style is incredibly sympathetic to the original RWS, making the images blend seamlessly into each other, making both of the decks together feel more like a life story than merely a snapshot. However, this deck is brilliant to work with just on it’s own, with the different moment in time posing new and interesting questions.
As per usual, this tarot deck comes with the ‘little white book’ to give you insight into your readings if you are a beginner. 78 full colour cards & instructions.

Why we love it
The After Tarot was one of the decks we knew we wanted to stock even before the shop opened. It is probably the most classical RWS-looking of our decks in our personal collection. We love it simply because the imagery is so evocative. Even though the pictures happen just moments after the images of the RWS, there are so many new questions that arise from it.
The symbology remains true to RWS form, which means there’s no new symbology to have to really dig into. It makes this an easy transition deck but pays off with all of the new possibilities within tarot spreads and readings.
